GENERAL The purpose of this procedure is to provide requirements for compilation of Red Correx at site. This procedure applies for all documents generated as Red Correx from site and would cover mechanical equipment’s, electrical, process, arrangement, instrumentation, civil and commissioning documentation. RFC documents released by Engineering that are expected to require Red Correx due to:  The lack of provision of enough or accurate level of details  Expected further details that have to be added onto the RFC document by the site personnel during construction or commissioning of the concerned systems, elements, etc.  Subsequent modifications required after the Release of the RFC documents as a result of NCRs, FSIs, etc. Red correx document’s record modification or correction (usually in red colour with red correx stamp) on a RFC document’s as per actual site execution of the work during erection & commissioning phase and plant initial star up operation. RFC Document released by Engineering to the site construction & commissioning team to proceed with the execution of the work are superseded by Red Correx document. Site can use red correx document (validated by STO) for execution of erection & commissioning activity and making inspection during erection & commissioning phase.

ABBREVIATIONS, TERMS AND DEFINITIONS  Released For Construction

: Document released by Engineering to the site construction & commissioning organization to proceed with the execution of the work. An electronic stamp shall be put in place by Engineering when releasing such document specifying Released for Construction (RFC)”.

 As Built

: Final document release by the engineering incorporating all additional marking, modification or correction as highlighted in the related red correx document issued by the site.

 FDC

: Field design change may result from the corrective action to solve a non conformance or technical query. FDS shall be initiated either by the site office or engineering to propose change against a design output documents with RFC status.

 NCR

: Non Conformance is the result of non-fulfillment of specified requirements, including a deficiency characteristic, documentation or process implementation, which causes delay to the program and/or causes significant unplanned expenditure.  Types of NCRs  Malfunction of Equipment  Late Delivery (Equipment, material and documentation)

SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITY: All the Red Correx issued at site by the M&E subcontractor / erection /commissioning supervisor / STO should controlled by STO department. Any red correx issued by the site shall be logged in the red correx LOG. LOG is maintained the document controller of STO department. Doc controller will register the red correx in the red correx record sheet & also transmit the red correx to engineering by uploading the red correx drawing in MTA (with red correx stamp) for making As built by incorporating necessary correction & modification as highlighted in red correx. Each entity are responsible of issuing the red correx for their scope: Site Technical officer have the responsibility to ensure that the Red Correx documentation produced by the respective Subcontractor or produced by the respective supervisor are checked for its correctness and completeness. ABFPL Site Commissioning Responsible Engineers have the responsibility to produce the Red Correx Documentation for their scope of work in a timely manner. ABFPL Commissioning Leads/Commissioning Manager have the responsibility to ensure that the required Red Correx documentation within their scope of activity are produced, correct, complete and expedited back to the Document Controller of STO department for distribution to Engineering. The Site Document Controller has the responsibility to upload “Red Correx” documentation in MTA with red correx stamp and to provide regular feedback on the progress status related to the production / distribution of Red Correx documentation through the MTA database as required. The Site Quality Manager has the responsibility to ensure the full implementation of this guideline at site. Site Quality manager ensure that the red correx structure is defined for every discipline and communicated to all the involved parties (ABFPL personnel and Subcontractors, as applicable). Quality manager also make audit of ABFPL and the subcontractors on the red correx process and take necessary action whenever the progress of production and distribution of Red Correx documentation is not satisfactory

As Built documentation management The electronic Red Correx documentation is distributed to the corresponding responsible entities in charge of issuing As Built documentation: supplier for Turn Key packages or equipment, engineering for mechanical and Commissioning.

STORAGE OF RED CORREX DOCUMENTS: The Red Correx shall not have either any new specific document number or any new revision. Each Red Correx document shall be fully scanned (all pages). The file name of a scanned Red

ANNEXURE 2: RED CORREX STAMP Red Correx issued by the STO should have stamp with information i.e. STO name & date. After STO confirmation, document controller transmits the red correx to responsible entities in charge of issuing As Built documentation - supplier for Turn Key packages or equipment, engineering for mechanical and Commissioning. The red correx transmitted by the document controller should have also have the electronic stamp generated from MTA

Red correx issued by the subcontractor shall have red correx stamp with following minimum information. Site Technical officer ensure correctness and completeness of red correx. After STO confirmation, document controller transmits the red correx to responsible entities in charge of issuing As Built documentation. The red correx transmitted by the document controller should also have the electronic stamp generated from MTA.

The Commissioning Red Correx documents shall be physically produced by the ABFPL Commissioning responsible engineer. Any Red Correx correction made on the documents shall be made in red colour on the drawing / document itself. A stamp shall be placed on the front sheet of the Red Correx with the following details. Document controller transmits the red correx to responsible entities in charge of issuing As Built documentation. The red correx transmitted by the document controller should also have the electronic stamp generated from MTA:
