Indoor Scenario description
The differences between indoor and outdoor BTS are:
1.
The equipments which under the tower are installed in the BTS room
2.
RRU power Cables and fibers will go through switch room window to RRU and antenna
3.
Overhead cabling will be used
4.
Rectifier is PS48300. BBU and RRU will power supplied by PS48300
5.
BBU and DDF box will be installed in one separate 19” rack
6.
Battery will be install in special battery rack and connect to PS48300

Indoor Scenario description
The similarities between indoor and outdoor BTS are:
1.
All of the installation on the tower is same
2.
The alarm plan is same

Swap Scenario
Swap scenario is basic same with installation new site:
1.
Fellow layout, install all of the under tower equipments whatever indoor or outdoor
2.
Install RRU, RRU power cables and fibers
3.
Install new antenna system
4.
If the plan is use current site’s old antenna
Open the connectors between antennas and ½” jumper cables.
Use new ½” jumper cables connect the RRU to antenna
The detail plan will be made with customer on site

Key point for Swap Scenario 1.
Need pay more attention to the alive network. Do not shut
down, power off any running equipment without customer’s permission. 2.
Need confirm whether the old antenna will be used after swap
3.
Need confirm how about the old feed cables and antenna after swap
4.
Need confirm the swap time schedule
