PERATION PRINCIPLES Yavuz 16 pistols ore semi-autamatic firearms operating on the short recoil prlnciple and using a falling block locking system. Upon firing, the pressure developed by combustíon gos in the chamber recoíls the slido and barrel assembly together in a shart distance. After o short run of slídebarrel assembly, the locking block falls and releases the slide letting it recoil while the barrel stops against frame. Period of its rearward movement, the slide extracts and ejeds the fired cortridge case, cocks the hammer and compress the recoil spring. With the force of recoil spring tense, the slide then moves forward feeding the next cartridge from the magazine into the chamber and causing barrel-slide locking. The slide stays open after the lastcartridge in the magazine has been fired and ejeded.

Be sure Ihat the chomber is empty and the barrel is free from dirt and obstrudions (PICTURE2). If you do not intend to fire, keep your fingers off the trigger. Check the loaded chamber indicator (PICTURE3) if it is loaded or unloaded. MC 21, MC 23 and MC 23.45 Models don't hove chamber 'oaded indicator.

Safety/decocklng lever allows sofe hammer lowering over a chambered round. Selting safety lever on safe position prevents the hammer striking on the firing pino Also, disconnects the linkage between the trigger and the sear. Automatic flrlng pln block prevents forward movement of the firing pin unless the trigger is completely pulled. Chambe;' 'oaded Indlcator indicates the state of the chamber. When a round is chambered, the

extrador head protrudes further from the slide breech and exposes a red warning tab. In the dark, protrusion can also be felt by touch. This makes unnecessary to pull back the slide to verify if chamber is loaded. MC 21, MC 23 ond MC 23.45 models don't hove chamber loaded Indicator. EASY DISASSEMBLlNG, Disassembling system is designed for a quick and easy field stripping and to ovoid casual or involuntary d isassembly. USAGE FEATURES; Slide stop latch locks the slide at the rear after last rounds in the magazine is fired. This position informs the magazine and the chamber is empty. Ambidextrous safety lever allows easy and quick actions for left handed shooters, too. Sight dimensions selected for swift target acquisition allows easier and quick aiming. Grooved frome design provides good handling in special conditions like handling with wet hands, rapid successive f1res etc. Magazine release bulton can be revorsed for left handed shooters at the YAVUZ 16 semiautomotic pistols.
